Blogapalooza

 

First of all, we can’t express enough how AMAZING it was to see about 130 of the 150 invited bloggers at the Blogapalooza event yesterday!

 

Top bloggers like Anton Diaz of OurAwesomePlanet.com, Azrael Coladilla of azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com, Hannah Villasis of FlairCandy.com,  and so many more were there!

 

Furthermore, the sponsors came and spoke without a hitch! We went old school style with no PowerPoints for most to prevent people from giving a “lecture” and forcing them to be more creative! Who can forget the awesome infographics that Laybare brought and prepared or the cool LazerXtreme Laser Tag game within the audience.

 

With just 5 minutes each, businesses were forced to focus in on one main feature that makes them stand out! And why extend any longer than that? Bloggers are very smart and search-ready. If you tease them just with the right info to get them interested, they would surely find a way to search for you through the world wide web!

 

 

 

For the next steps of Blogapalooza:

 

We are planning a pre-Christmas Blogapalooza. Sort of an Online Gift Guide where the best holiday shopping picks can all come together to feature their widgets to the bloggers. This will happen probably sometime in November.

 

 

On another note, we are planning to have smaller and more targeted Blogapalooza events. Perhaps inviting just 50 Bloggers from a specific genre and also inviting just 20 brands from that genre. For example, we may have “Blogapalooza Fashion” or “Blogapalooza Tech” or a“Blogapalooza Food” or “Blogapalooza Travel!” For each, we will only invite bloggers who write about that genre and also brands and SME’s that fall within that pool as well.
